Strawberries... yum yum!

Today the boys and I went to Gieringer's Orchard in Edgerton, KS, and picked fresh strawberries. I absolutely love this orchard! They have ripe strawberries right now, but later in the summer they have peaches and plums available for picking, and last year we were able to purchase corn, cucumbers, and tomatoes too. This is the first time we had gone for strawberries and we had a great time. Only $2.50 per pound, you get to have the experience of picking them yourself, they are fresh, and they even have tables you can bring a lunch and eat at while the kids play on the big pile of hay. Wish we would have known to plan a picnic.

 To me, it is totally worth the $2.50 a pound. I would recommend going this summer, my kids love it!
