Awhile back, my friend passed on a recipe for a green, spinach smoothie to me and I am addicted! Who would have thought a smoothie with spinach in it would be so delicious?! You cannot even taste the spinach, and it is healthy!
2 cups baby spinach
1 frozen banana (Good idea to peel the banana BEFORE you freeze it!)
1 half scoop chocolate protein powder
2 Tablespoons PB2 (healthier, powdered peanut butter)
1 cup unsweetened, vanilla, almond milk
I was only able to find PB2 at my local Hy-Vee in the health department, health stores, or Amazon. However, a mom on my son's field trip recently told me that my local Walmart sells it now in the peanut butter department, which makes me so happy, but I have yet to buy it from there.
Combine ingredients and blend together for yummy deliciousness!
